the list of things I don't like about Texas is a short one, but scorpions is on it....along with coral snakes and cotton mouth snakes. in fact, that pretty much IS the list.

I will try to explain what it feels like to get stung by a scorpion. It got me on the ball of my foot. Instantly it hurt, like a sliver going into my foot. Then I felt the venom travel about 2 inches in all directions. As it traveled I could feel the nerves in my foot being affected. It hurt for about 15 min. and then for 1 hour or so it felt like your mouth feels after the dentist numbs your teeth, kind of puffy feeling but no swelling and not realy numb. It continued to hurt slightly for about 2 hour total. I do not want to get stung on my upper body, but my feet are kind of tough and it really was no problem. I am a TEXAN now!
When Chloe got stung she hardly complained about it. She's one tough TEXAN!
